Your girlfriend is allowed to touch your iBook.
Love must have limts.

Didn't your iBook come with a hardware test CD? They usually do.

I agree. Unless the sex is that great, no one should touch the Mac!

Anyhow, use the hardware test CD to see if there was any damage, and also check for scratches and ransom notes.

Be watchful for problems in the nest few days. My friend dropped his iBook about 5' onto a hardwood floor and everything seemed ok. Then, about 3-4 days later his display started acting up and it turned out he needed a new logic board which Apple replaced for free. Just an FYI.

This is one of those times when TechTool Pro can be pretty useful, if you have it...

Oh shït. I hope you dumped her and you're glad she's leaving.

Thinking of getting dumped and then having your little iBook killed by the same person is really tragic.

Maybe she could buy you a 12" PowerBook to make up for it...

... I let my girlfriend use my mac, and touch it, hehe. But it might have had something to do with the sex, meh.

She even had her own user account, I was trying to get her into macs, and it worked.

It's one hell of a lot cheaper to get another girlfriend than it is to get another Powerbook. Also, as long as we're talking girlfriends, chances are good that you'll have more girlfriends than Powerbooks... so keep that thing locked up!

Honestly, what is more important, girlfriends will come and go, but haven't you read the useability reports - macs last longer

I just bought my wife a TiBook, so she can drop/"fall on" her own mac!
