I was having some issues with my iBook and OS X.2.3 locking up, and so i figured I would try and just re-install the system. I backed up all the files I wanted to, and connected my iBook to a iMac via Target mode. Wiped the entire HD clean. Now when I insert the Jaguar Install CD into my iBook I get a warning that states "The Instalelr package "OSInstall" cannot be opened. Missing or old Bill of Materials."

I'll admit I have no idea what this is supposed to mean, but what I do know is that it won't let me install the OS on again. Same thing happens when I try to boot up off of the iMac in target mode so I could install from there.

Questions are: 1) How can I get it so I can install. 2) What does the above warning even mean?

Thanks for any help.
