It gets this weird backlit look instead of being inverted when clicked on.

What gives?

I just mean that when compared to the clock or battery or airport (where the normally black portions turn white when clicked on, the behavior of the isync menu item is inconsistent.

indeed. the icon becomes black, and a white shadow behind it. kinda cool but kinda inconsistent too...

nope this is just stock OS X behavior.

Not really a big deal, just kind of odd that somebody at Apple took the time to make it behave differently.

OH YEAH THAT WOULD BE GREAT. MAYBE THEY COULD WRITE AN APP IN THE SAFARI BROWSER WHICH DISABLES IS IT TO WRITE MORE THEN THREE LETTERS IN CAPITALS PER PARAGRAPH

they'd better get some smb working without all the kp's with aliases working too. and an option to auto-login as guest.

the ARD client menu item doesn't invert like the monitor/sound/airport ones either.

i can think of like 400 things about ARD to fix befoe that though.

I think Apple is fairly aware about it. It doesn't feel like a 'bug' to me.
