Hi:

I know that if I want to cancel a process I just have to press ctrl-c. But when I see a "man" page there is no way of going out without going to the end or quitting terminal. Also suspending with ctrl-X does not help me.

Doing a man man just gives me the tchs man page where I can't find that information.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks in advance.

Thanxs for the quick reply!

Great! That will help me a lot.

Genial, y que fácil. He probado todas las combinaciones de teclas y no se me ocurrió pulsar teclas sueltas.

Gracias.

Just press "q".
And "/h" will give you a whole screenful of other possible commands, such as searching, etc.

But i like to use the GUI man front end called ManOpen for viewing man pages.

there is no way of going out without going to the end or quitting terminal.
You don't have quit the Terminal.app to end a session. Merely close the terminal window and open a new one if you get stuck (but it's better to know how to terminate things without resorting to this). By the way: You can have multiple, concurrent terminal windows open, which can also be useful.

Also suspending with ctrl-X does not help me.
I'll bet you meant ctrl-z.
