Hey all,

so I'm finally ready to upgrade to 10.2 from 1.5. What I've done is partition my drive into a small os9/X drive and a Datadrive partition for my users folder.

It has worked quite well for me, but now it's time to upgrade.

My question is what to do? I know to install from the X disc, reformat the main 9/X drive and install X on that drive (I definitely want to reinitialize the drive prior), but then how will I get 10.2 to recognize my users folder on the other partition?

And when it asks me for a user name in setup should I use the same one?

And since I will still have to boot into os 9 (an old cd-r) should I wipe the drive and then install 9.2 first?

thanks in advance.
