Over the weekend I attempted to replace Sendmail with Qmail. When I couldn't get it to work, I moved back to Sendmail (by the way, backup your sendmail binary before installing Qmail if you want the option of going back), but now I can't get my pop3 server working again.

I was using popper from eudora, which I recompiled and reinstalled, but I've also compiled and installed UW's ipop3 to try and make that work.

I can't figure out what files may have been touched by Qmail's installer as there doesn't seem to be any kind of install log and no documentation on what exactly the installer does.

So, I've edited inetd.conf to point to /usr/local/bin/popper for pop3 as per the instructions from Eudora, any ideas what else I need to do? Where else I should be looking?

Thanks,
Tony
