Our scanner machine is a 7500 w/a G3/500 upgrade card & RadeonPCI. It works great in OS9. I just put OSX on a similar Mac and am VERY happy w/the results.

The catch here is the scanner. Are there any issues w/SCSI scanners in OSX? I don't mind buying some extra SW (??VueScan??), I just want it to work.

VueScan works very well and is updated often. I have a Umax Astra 1200S scsi scanner and I've had no problems with it under 10.2.x. Well worth the price of the software if you do a lot of scanning.

Thanks.

Its for my offics, so the $30 or so dollars isn't a problem if it works.
