Wow.. it is suppose to directly fix a problem with DSL modems too. Very wierd that yours does not work now!

I have a SpeedStream ADSL modem sitting around if u want it for a few $ ;p

..i just goes - establishing connection then stops and says - PPP was unable to connect..look at your settings - even when theyre all identical to 10.2.3's..

..maybe i'll wait until they release official drivers.

not sure if this helps much, given your situation...

but 10.2.4 works perfectly with my hermstedt dsl modem...

i'm on BT Broadband [a no frills adsl provider] in the UK...

works fine... maybe reinstall the drivers from the hermstedt cd from scratch?
