THANK GOD!!! It was SO annoying!!!
I couldn't take having all of the icons shift to the right when you placed an icon on the left edge of the screen... It was fixed with this upgrade...
I'm one of those people that use the desktop like a real desktop... During the day, I start placing active files etc on the desktop, and at the end of the day, I place everything (or almost everything) in its proper folder...
Thank you apple... Yes, this is one of those TINY little annoyances, but it drove me mad!!!

Why did this need it's own thread. It's cool and all that this bug has been fixed but I'm sure the mods would appreciate if all the 10.2.4 posts were bundled up in just one thread.

If everyone posted a new thread for the 'one bug that annoyed' them the most, we'd have dozens of 10.2.4 threads.

Come on...
This was a very annoying gui glitch. when you have 20+ icons on the desktop and they all shift 40 pixles to the right, it was just bad form on Apples part.
Everyone has their own few things that they like to bitch about... tabed browsing, beachball, themes etc. but for me, it was those damn jumping icons!!!
I couldn't help but grimice when my girlfreiend dragged an icon off of the window and placed it near the left hand side of the screen. The icons would all shift and I would get a "What did I just do!!!"
Remember, it's the little things that keep me coming back to the mac... But true, we don't need a thread for every new feature/item...
