I wish to setup an IRC server for a private aDSL network

I connect remotely to the network via PoPPE via a proxy server? and the network has a DNS with individual IP's assigned dynamically but remain permanent if log-in is maintained

Can anyone advise where i can get Mac OSX.2 IRC server software (freeware?) and possibly point to a tutorial on how to setup and configure
