WTF? were did my message go? here's my original message.

... or any acceleration at all? I've been using USB Overdrive since day one to get my mouse to feel right (by turning off acceleration completely). If I just use the System's speed, first, it's not fast enough for me on the fastest setting, secondly, the horrid acceleration makes controlling the cursor very hard. For instance, try moving your mouse just a tiny bit very slowly, and you'll notice the cursor doesn't move at all. This makes detailed graphics work and playing 3d shooters impossible.

I know I've got a Logitech mouse, but even when I used the Apple Pro Mouse with my eMac, the System's mouse settings were just the same. The cursor is just way too jumpy.

yeah my wireless logitech mouse does that too, which is why i use my apple pro mouse, which i like better, except i need a better surface to use it on.
and yes, that fastest speed isn't fast enough for me either.
