Ok, I am trying to change the icon for my hard drive.

I get info on the image i want to use, then I "copy" then I get info on my hard drive and try to paste the new icon but nothing happens. In fact the "paste" option is not available.

What am I doing wrong?

I wanted to do the same thing. I ended up using a pretty good little app called CandyBar. If you're interested, you can get it here:
