Hey people, ever since installing 10.2.3 (I now have 10.2.4) the arrange desktop popup no longer appears for pictures that don't quite fit. It used to... I tried deleting the desktop.apple.plst file but that did nothing. Any clues?

Yeah, this happened to me too but awhile back in 10.2.2. Why it does I have no frickin idea. But, what I found is that if you keep your desktop pictures in a different folder than the default desktop background files are stored this should work.

Now that I remember, with 10.2.4 it didn't work on the first try. I keep my custom background images in my home folder, selected them, closed desktop preferences and then re-opened the desktop preferences, then voila, the option to choose center/stretch/fill/tile reappeared. Hope this works for you, let me know.
