I have noticed that I get almost no spam on my Mac.com e-mail compared to my swbell.net e-mail. My wife gets horrible spam on her swbell.net but almost none on her mac.com. I have had the swbell.net one a little longer, but hardly ever use it for anything except filtering spam.
Is this because:
1. I have been more careful to whom I give my mac.com (unlikely, since it is on my business cards)?
2. SWBell.net, as a larger ISP in the Midwest and South, is subject to more bulk mailers putting in combiniations of letters and numbers before the suffix?
3. Apple is doing some filtering before it gets to me?
Not that I'm complaining, but I was just wondering why the difference.
