Ever since I installed 10.2.4 strange things have been happening to my computer. first the battery icon on the top right of the menu bar for my powerbook got corrupted and no longer works.

now whenever i startup my comp i get a login box and i have to click on my username to get into the finder. it doesnt bother me that much but 1. i dont like that damn butterfly icon to log in, and 2. its not much effort to click on the logo to log in, but i just dont like the fact that it randomly started making me do this.

so how do i get rid or it, or if anything, how do i change that butterfly logo?! thanks

To make your account auto-login:

1) Go to System Preferences
2) Click on Accounts
3) Click on your Account
4) Click "Set Auto Login..."
5) Enter your password

To change your icon:

1) Go to System Preferences
2) Click on My Account
5) Pick a new icon
