Ok, heres the problem. Im using 10.2.4 and when im on the internet i get this "want to disconnect or stay connected" dialog box, and i want to get rid of it. i want to be connected to the internet all the time. If i leave my mac some time alone when i come back its offline. Im downloading some stuff thats quite big and i cant be with the computer all the time and i want to download the file. I couldnt find anything in system prefs for this. Maybe i didnt look hard enough. Any idea ?

Go in Preferences->Network, select Internal Modem, then click on the PPP tab.
Then click on the 'PPP options' button and make sure the appropriate options are disabled.

gosh, thanks poison for asking that question again, and thanks to pat++ for answering it. have beeen having prob with same myseelf, and feel stupis i overlooked that sol. so readily.
