Hi all thanks for looking in,

My Mail.app started to crash for no reason and I quickly figured out that it was the prefs. I and now using new prefs. after deleting the old ones and it works (IE not crashing)

The problm now is that I need to get my 'inbox' back, I have been able to get all the other emails back by just importing them back in but I don't know where my 'inbox' is

Can anyone point me in the right direction as I need the items back.

Your Inbox is stored in parts for each account you have. The mailbox should be in:

~/Library/Mail/{Your account}/INBOX.mbox

{Your account} will be something like POP-youraddress@your.mail.server.example.com

If you can't find it in there, well maybe you should go looking at your backups... you do backup don't you? :-)
