So, if you open up the iDVD package and peek inside, you'll note that there are some nice fonts that come with it. I took these out and placed them in my system fonts folder on my G4, and sure enough I was able to use the fonts in all my applications.
However, if I take these fonts and transfer them to my B&W G3, they don't appear. This seems a bit odd to me; is the system somehow denying me use of these fonts because I don't have iDVD installed? Or is there another explanation for this behavior?
