Sure you can put it there. Whether you can run it is another matter.

Why would you want to? It's like putting lipstick on a pig...

Hehe, ok, Yeah you can put it there and you can even RUN it (sort of) with Virtual PC.

But it would not be nice, and it's not really what viesas_2 is asking based on his 'other' post

Virtual PC does a fair job of running Windows Apps. I use it run a mortgage processing program that is only developed for the PC.

It not fast but it works and is usable.

I put a Big MAC on a window once, but I forgot about it and my dog ate it. [/my very first nonsense post]

Perhaps he meant it as the acronym (Mouse Activated Computer) Steve Jobs used when trying to get the name Mac. Eyh, not likely.

This is about the stupidest thread ever. But, it made me laugh for a few minutes. Plus, it is a poll, for reasons beyond my comprehension. Maybe its some sort of Basic-Knowledge test, you know, like ASVAB.

Hmm..that is an interesting question.
Which requires some thought. It might take a while to think this out. I'm not sure if i can come up with a feasible solution for you since i cannot predict the future.
Here are some questions:

1. Does it bother you that Microsoft named their operating system after a part of the gui called a "window"?
2. Did you buy a computer game and fail to read the system requirements? (come on, be honest)
3. What brought you to the conclusion that if it existed you would need Windows on a Macintosh?

Just a reminder, forums are like your girlfriend's answering machine. If you call about the same thing too often she'll ignore you/dump you.

You can run Windows just fine, using Virtual PC. It will be slow, because it will be emulation. But it will work.

Yes or No? Looks like 'ask the audience' is an even split, do you want to guess or phone a friend?

Actually, it would not be like putting lipstick on a pig. Lipstick reminds you of something that makes another thing look pretty, Windows [strong]certainly[/strong] wouldn't make anything look pretty. And pig is something ugly, and Apple hardware is anything but ugly!

Sorry to be a stickler for detail!

I think you're reading it the wrong way, putting a pig like Windows into a pretty box like a Mac...is like putting lipstick on the pig

Yes, by using VirtualPC.

But if you ever found OS X to be a bit.. sluggish.. it's nothing compared to using Windows in VPC...
