You have to use Disk Utility to erase the CD-RW first. Then you can reburn the CD.

Are you clicking on the name of the drive or the volume? I believe you have to click the drive or else you won't be able to erase the disc.

Could also be that erasing a CD-RW is a little bit unintuitive in OS X.

Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

You are not an idiot. Most people with Pc can just add files to a CD untill it is the CD is full. The mac needs a better way to do this. In addition, it needs to be able to take an open session disk from a PC, add files to it, and send it back to the PC without any problem. Apple needs to do this.

Yes, I know I could buy a PC, but why?
