I like having new browser windows open blank.
Safari is written as a cocoa NSDocument-based app so it inherits some usually useful behaviours from NSDocument.
But browser windows aren't really documents - you can dispose of them without really losing data.
So - here's what happens after a long days browsing:
would I be anal in submitting this as a bug?

I don't think so, it annoys me too.

hehhe. yeah that is quirky. I recently noticed that if you apple-click a windows title, it gives you a popup menu of domain name, directory by directory to the current location. kinda like apple-clicking a Finder window title bar...

I definitely think so, considering how many other actually important things Apple is working on. Or, to put it another way, go ahead and submit it, just don't get pissed if it doesn't make it into the next releases.

I tried v62 but it was a bit buggy, notably with javascript (try ebuyer.co.uk....with it). Also it frequently hung on startup, giving a really good luck at the beachball
I liked the tabs but I'm going to wait for the polished version, well, as polished as the next beta can be!
YMMV

I am on window 17, with the new unreleased Safari I like it seems faster.
eBuyer.co.uk is slightly messed up, but you can still click the links. Just.
