2 days ago i posted in the osx forum for the first time...
have been running 9.2.2 quite happily for some time.
today i am in day2 of 10.2.4...and will not go back.
my "x-ready" apps (indesign, photoshop, reason) all installed beautifully. i printed! reason works, with my midi2usb interface!
burned cds, hot-synced my palm vx.
amazing stuff. x feels great (a little slow in places), but i like it, the differences make sense, and 9 now looks old...
will be back with questions (and crises?)...and soon enough, HELP for others!

What's this "OS 9" you spoke of?

I'm still an OS X virgin, at present have no plans to change. Waiting for Steve to have a major update to the Power Mac. My G4 OS 9 does everything that I need currently!

We were all virgins at one time.
And the first time wasn't necessarily the best, even if it was quite memorable...
It's something worth persevering with - you can even practice on your own, if you like - and you won't go blind, trust me ;-)
Some of us even end up getting a little adventurous - I wouldn't call it fetishistic as such, just that we have our own preferences, themes, behaviours and suchlike....
So stick with it, and chances are, when it all grooves along as well as it does now, you might even end up with a long term relationship...
