Silly question I know...but I can't for the life of me boot into OS 9 from an OS 9 disk, DiskWarrior, System Restore disk, NOTHING from OS X Server! It's like OS X Server is over-ruling it from happening everytime and will only boot into OS X time and time again.

I don't have OS 9 (Classic) installed on the OS X Server but would really like to get into OS 9 to fix some things and check some drive issues.

Any idea?

Thanks.

Take out the drive and put it in a older machine that will boot 9 and then boot it from your repair CD.

That or wait for DiskWarrior to come out for X.

Ironically, I have the OS X DiskWarrior preview and it just hangs on this one drive I'm working with...hence, the whole "lets try in OS 9 with DW" routine...

I'll try your first method.

Thanks.

That didn't work...

Why? Because we are using an OS X Software RAID/drivers and OS 9 isn't recognizing the drives since it's a different file format.

Arrgghhh...

Any other ideas?
