Hey guys because of my situation here at college I get very paranoid about the security of my computer while I'm at class. I was wondering if there are logs that are kept when people try to log into your account and are successful/unsuccessful? Same for screensaver passwods? Anyone know if there is any 3rd party app that will moniter this if it isnt capable in OSX? Thanks.

OSX does this by default, but the only tools for monitoring the logins are via the UNIX command line. The login records are stored in /var/log/wtmp. This file is cycled once a month.

You can see all logins since the last cycle with the UNIX command 'last'. Use 'man last' to get instructions for the last command.
