I am putting together a presentation for my high school (I am a teacher in Japan). The show will consist of a lot of pictures, imported from iPhoto. I am having trouble KEEPING the pics on the slides.
I've followed the instructions and dragged the photos from iPhoto to a slide in Keynote. It appears on the slide and in the Navagator View. But after playing the show once, many (but not all...) photos dissappear from the slides are are replaces by a gray box with a question mark in the center. Yet the pics remain in the Navigator View.
I don't understand why this happens and I desperately need to correct this as it effect almost 60% of the pics.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong and how I can correct the problem?
Thanks in advance.

I have done lots of keynote stuff - but never had said problem. I recommend you to check the pics format and if possible to recompress them as JPG again. Even they are JPg before.

I haven't seen this problem either. I wonder if you are having some kind of memory issue? What size are your photos?
Does the same thing happen if you only have a few slides with a few photos? I suggest you experiment some to see if smaller presentations behave in the same manner.

Thanks KeynoteHQ and John. I have tried recompressing the pics and that seems to help but does not completely eliminate the problem. I am guess that it is indeed a memory problem. I am on a an older 600 ibook runing 384 megs, so that is probably the case.
Thanks for your recs.
