I wrote this Unix type startup item to run dnet at system startup on OS X. I used directions here http://www.osxfaq.com/Tutorials/Lear...artup/index.ws
It worked perfect on two computers, a Flat screen imac and a crt imac. Then, I just installed 10.1 on a 9500 and my startup item doesn't work anymore? I didn't modify it at all. I can't figure out why it won't work though. Dnet is the majority of what this machine is going to be doing, I really wanna get it running. Thanks.

A 9500? You are using XPostFacto, right? To get Mac OS X to run on unsupported machines, the kernel of Mac OS X is slightly modified. I would say this is the root (no pun intended) of your problem.

Yes, XPostFacto, but all the tons of other startup items work fine, it doesn't make sense that just mine wouldn't work. Is it different between 10.2 and 10.1 maybe? The 9500 is on 10.1 and the others were on 10.2
