Under 10.1, I could make a backup copy of an audio CD by using the Disk Utility and selecting New Image From Device, then CD Master. 10.2 has the cd drive greyed out in the listing? Is there another way to make an exact copy of an audio CD in OS X 10.2 I don't want to use Toast.

Import as AIFF for better quality, if it's just to copy the CD rather than make mp3s of the songs.

Yeah, but then you don't have the proper blank space between tracks, which can matter on a few CDs where some pairs of songs run right into each other and others don't.

In other news, I don't know a better solution to this question. Sorry.
