I want to test the Mac OSX 10.2 Server on a PowerBook G3. Is this possible. Will it run on a Powerbook G3? Please advise me. I would like to test the OSX Server 10.2 and I have a Powerbook G3 to play around with the server first before installing and buying a powerful Mac. Help anyone. pls.

Of course, it needs to be a PowerBook G3 Series (big upside-down apple on the back) and not the evil original 'PowerBook G3' (PB3400 tortured until it would accept a G3 proc).

Do what Gul Banana suggested and read the box you bought.

Don't worry, you can use it. I installed it on my iMac 400 without a problem.
Don't install it if you aren't going to run an advanced server often though. You'll have a lot of useless stuff running and taking up CPU time. Stick with normal 10.2 and be happy.
Also, make sure you have a working serial number (if you downloaded it, which I assume you did) because you can't do anything with it unless you enter the serial after you've installed.
