When I fsck now I get "missing thread id" and disk utility or fsck won't fix it. Any way to clear this up?

I was hoping to wait until version 3 to purchse disk warrior. Will anything else do the trcik? I'm pretty neurotic about maintaining a "clean" system.

After less that four hours? Man your thread must be much more important than the whole rest.

DiskWarrior is about the best way to fix whatever directory problems that fsck won't. No one seems to know when DW 3 is going to ship, so basically, you've just got to make a judgement call. Can you afford to NOT have DiskWarrior to fix this problem until whenever DW 3 ships? It is overdue, so hopefully we'll see it within the month.

OK thanks. I suppose I was hoping there might be a workaround that I could try till DW3 came out. But I'll just have to be patient, and try not to get neurotic about it. If worst comes to worst I'll just get DW 2. No worries.

No worries. That happens sometimes. And 16 hours might still be very well under the acceptable self bump requirement. *blush*
