Hi,

i was wondering how to check what programs are using resources. also is there a way to end certain applications that are using resources. i use bit torrent and if i close a window, it doesnt seem like it frees up the resources and when i try to delete the file it says it is still in use.

thanks

Either type top in Terminal or use Process Viewer found in /Applications/Utilities to look at processor and memory usage.

As for BitTorrent, you need to quit the app in order to delete the files you've downloaded.

Use the 'lsof' command in Terminal to see which Application is using which file.

Is it possible to see which foreign addresses a program has network connections with? (better with the port info too)
