Why does Mail keep asking me for my Mindspring (Earthlink) password when it checks for mail? I have entered it and checked the "save password" option. This has been a problem since PB. It is why I stopped using Mail a long time ago. I just thought I'd give it another chance.

well it could be that the password is entered wrong - you could try deleting all the earthlink related passwords from you keychain and entering it anew.

it might also be wrong in your Mail preferences...

also, you may have mail set to recheck for messages more frequently than the server allows a single user to log in...
