MacFixit is reporting that many DSL users are having trouble with their DSL connection after applying the recent security update.

I have done the update yet, and was wondering how serious and/or how widespread the problem is before installing it.

Does this happen on all machines, or only certain hardware, like dual processors?

Has anyone figured out a fix?

I have installed the uodate and my DSL connection is working flawlessly - except when Bell South is fiddling around the lines in my area (which they are now doing). But, no problems here.
