Please! I got caught on a trap!
(-:

I have downloaded HFS Disc image files, all of them
named like " blabla.toast ".

But when I try to open it using Command+M or
MOUNT DISC IMAGE in my Roxio Titanium all I get
is a message that follows:

Couldn't complete the last command because of a
MAC OS error.

Result Code = - 50

What is this?
I cannot mount ISO files also, because the same error.
My Toast Titanium is 5.1.2 - Lite-on LTR-12102C(MMC)
My OS X is 10.2.4
What should I do?

Thanks, reallu thanks!

Did you even bother to read the main support FAQ at the Roxio website or the tech forum?

The answer is there in big bold letters

Upgrade to 5.2 since 5.1.2 in not fully compatible with 10.2.4.

good luck

Awful thing!

I have updated my ROXIO TOAST to the most
actual version --- 5.2.

I used the OFFICIAL ROXIO.COM updater
and now my ROXIO does not open anymore!
Damn it!

When I click on the alias, the program OPENS and 3 seconds
later it closes - Illegal Operation.

Anybody has noticed this before?

Thanks!

This is what happens when you use a l33ched version of Toast for the purpose of finding 4k78 w/o the debug-code

Use Disk Copy, no need to use Toast.

I just want to use toast to burn image files, but it doesn't work with 10.2, even though it can work perfect in 10.1.
I think I have to download other softwares to do it.
What do you recommend?
thanks anyway!

The problem with Toast crashing after the 5.2 update is extremely well documented, and happens even to legal users. The fix is to control-click the Toast icon, choose Show Package Contents, and in there (in the MacOS folder) is a file called Roxio.dat. It contains the registration code. Delete that file.

Now launch Toast again. It will ask you for the registration code, enter it, and then it'll work.
