I have a G4 tower with an extra ethernet adaptor linked to an ethernet ADSL modem and connect via PPP0E with ISP dynamically assigning IP
An iMac is connected(configured for DHCP) to the gateway machine by the inbuilt-ethernet.
I have configured my Location to recognise the two Nic cards and use Internal IP of 198.162.1.1 for the inbuilt and connect via PPP on the other
The iMac can connect to the G4 with TCP/IP and Appletalk
BUT client Apps on the iMac cannot retrieve data from the internet ie can connect to ISP email POP and connect to URL servers, but cannot download
Is there something with OSX's configuration of PPPoE and NAT that prevents me from using this configuration

Any insight is appreciated

tia
