For some reason, my sound balance settings keep getting messed up, and I have to manually go in and correct them almost every other day. The slider will usually be too far left or right, but never in the middle where I leave it. Any ideas what may be causing this or how I can stop it from happening? Thanks

Try deleting the sound prefs. It's in /Library/Preferences/com.apple.soundpref.plist
