I have a folder contain all my graphic design works on my desktop. Somehow today it disappeared on my desktop. I could not find it anywhere. I am afraid I might delete it by accident. Is there anyway to restore delete files? or is there anyway to track back what happen to the folder?
please help me
those files are very important to me. I need them back. =(

First, turn off your computer and don't plan on using for awhile. There's a few programs out there that could help, Norton UnErase, DiskWarrior may even find it. I can't think of more now someone else may be able to help you though. There are places that can get stuff off of your drive that was about 3 years old but they'll charge you an arm and a leg (I'm thinking of DiskSavers)

Did you try doing a search for one of the file names that was in the folder?

yes i did the search of the folder and OS X couldn't find it.
but

It turns out that my gf drag the files to the dragthing bar and didn't tell me
OMFG...freak me out!!
anyway, thx guys for the help
