Argh.
I'm trying to connect to the wireless network on my campus, but my gigabook doesn't seem to be picking it up. I've tried manually launching the airport.menu from /System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/ as well as from the AirPort tab in the Network panel of System Preferences. It won't appear in my menu bar. I've tried across restarts, and from different Locations where I have only the AirPort network port configured as well as locations where I have multiple network ports configured. Not like this should matter.
I've been trying to connect from the AirPort only location since this worked fine here until today. I can't really think of anything I've done on the system recently that changed things around since I last accessed the network here, except maybe the latest security update that got put out.
Another powerbook right beside me running 10.2 is connecting fine.
(I'm running 10.2.4, with the latest update)
Going to apple system profiler seems to detect my airport card fine.
Does anyone have any ideas?
thanks
