Anyone can share how to permanently delete the alias to Desktop Folder (OS9). As I don't use OS9 anymore and would like this file removed from the root directory. Deleting simply doesn't work as it always get recreated.
Unless it has any ill effects on the system, which I hope it doesn't, is there a way to do this?
It doesn't have any ill-effects, but OS 9 uses it for the desktop. This includes the Classic environment. If you delete it and launch Classic, it will be recreated.
