I've read up on how to use a SMB shared printer hooked up to one of my Windows XP computers on my network. I understand HOW I'm supposed to get it working but Print Center isn't cooperating. When I option-click on Add Printer there is no SMB/Samba option under the advanced panel. I tried to set up Unix Print Services on the XP machine but it didn't work out when attempting to access the printer via LPR in Print Center on my Powerbook. Did I miss a step somewhere along the line on either of the machines or do something I shouldn't have? I'm using 10.2.4 and the printer is a Canon S400 hooked up to my PC via the parallel port, said PC is running Windows XP.

Try reviewing this hint at macosxints.com

Make sure you have enabled printing via samba in Jaguar and of course sharing the printer in XP.

Hope that helps.
