Here's the setup:

Dual 867, 10.2.4, Print Center 2.3, Gimp 4.2.4, Epson Photo EX.

I open Print Center, hold down option key and click on "Add." Next window, "Advanced," select "Device:" and I get 8 choices, none of which are my Epson.

Below, under printer model, I can select "Epson Photo EX" but I ger no "Device URL."

What am I doing wrong. Any ideas. I am running the printer through a Keyspan USB adapter. Is that the problem? I can print from sys 9 no problem. Oh yeah, I have gone into prefs and toggled on and off as suggested in the manual for Gimp, and when I installed I had the printer on and connected, again as suggested in the manual. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Keyspan adapter will not work with Gimp. I found this out after several hours of research.

Epson sells a serial -> USB adapter which works fine (this is what I use), and there is one other vendor which sells an adaptor which will also work, but I can't remember the name of this vendor right now.
