Is this just me? I have a Quicksilver 800 with Apple Pro Speakers and an iSub. Since I updated to 10.2.4. I lose my iSub every time the computer sleeps. Rebooting cures the problem until the next time it sleeps, so it is just a irritation more than anything else.
Any suggestions (other than "buy soundsticks")? Or do I just have to wait until the next release to fix a problem that didn't exist before this last release.

I've had the same problem for as long as I can remember. Way before 10.2.4. Unplugging and re-plugging in iSub USB cord is a temp fix also.
In addition, I still have the problem of the iSub not muting when I hit the mute button.
Hope if all gets fixed in the next update.

I've had some quarky sound "losses" with my iSub/SoundStick set-up on my TiBook 667 DVI...not sure if 10.2.4 is the culprit or not.
However, simply going into /System Preferences/Sound panel and re-selecting the "Soundsticks" as my output source does the trick...no restart is needed.

I just inherited a new iSub yesturday, but I'm wondering if it's even worth using it with 10.2.4. Might just keep it boxed until there is an OS X version it works seamlessly with.

It's a bug, and it seemed to come and go, but really stuck out in the final release of 10.2.4.
Open up your System Preferences and then open sound. Check the slider for your iSub, because I notice that it moves erratically every time you put your system to sleep. It never seems to make it louder, only quieter or off all together. I submitted this bug while beta-testing it, however Apple didn't seem to fix it before releasing the final 10.2.4. If the slider is missing all together, then as mentioned above, just unplug your iSub and plug it in again and your Mac will redetect it.

I couldn't tell you... I stopped using my iMac after I got my new iBook... It had a HD crash and needed reformatting, so at the time since my iBook was faster I just ditched the iMac all together...
The only thing I remember that was weird with the sound was that when I used headphones on it, the iSub stayed active under X...

I was going to follow your advice, but this time it woke up fine. Odd.
