I'm not very familiar with Applescript, and wanted to know if this is possible before I try to figure out how to go about doing it.

I have a series of transcripts in iTunes that I need to distribute occasionally. I use iChat file transfer to pass the files around. Would it be possible to have the transcript highlighted in iTunes and have Applescripts for "Transfer Selection To User X, Transfer Selection To User Y...."?

Ideally it would start the transfer process, so I wouldn't have to go to iChat and hit enter to send it.

Thanks.

(Edit: On second thought, this might belong in Software. I won't repost, but mods...please move it if it belongs there instead.)

Since iChat is not AppleScriptable, there is not much that any of us can do about it, as long as we talk about AppleScript.

I find a really really stupid thing to have released iChat with no AppleScript support at all.

Guess that clears that one up. Thanks, though.
