Hey once I get my new power book I might not have enough cash to upgrade some of my classic apps right away... I rarely use OS X right now but I know my power book won't boot into anything else so I'll live with the happyness of OS X
But like I said I will need several classic apps for a while, and I'd like to ditch platinum so I'm not dealing with 2 very different interface elements... and while I like platinum... when it's not uniform it looks dumb...
So any suggestions on a way to make classic look like OS X in some way?

I have made the SmoothStripes theme for OS X, and to go with it I have made a K-scheme for Classic. So if you dislike the stripes in OS X this is the theme for you.
I also recommend using
- PowerWindows (for solid dragging of classic windows)
- SmoothType (for OS X like font smoothing)
- Appearance Hopper and Lucida Grande font. Appearance hopper let's you change all fonts to what ever you choose. Change all of them to lucida grande, and the large one to size 13.
- USB Overdrive (for scrolling with the mousewheel).
Using all of the mentioned things, you should get a very nice intergration between OS X and Classic that should look something like this:
SmoothStripes and SS Classic can be found on my homepage. Get there by clicking my signature.
If you do like stripes, there are a couple of those themes too (not on my site though).

Not on topic so much, but Macmend, the link to your 'legal' page on your website is still relative to your computer's hard drive...
You might wanna take out that path in the link tag.

Mac OS 9 has a built-in theming capability. You don't have to pay for Kaleidoscope if you can find an OS 9 theme that suits you. There were some Aqua themes for OS 9 at one point, but they are probably hard to find now.
