Does anyone have a Samsung I330? I'm thinking of getting one for my wife, but it needs to work with iSync. Any comments?

Currently - no.

In the future - ? no way to really tell.

It says on the Site that it supports "PC Syncronisation " exactly which protocols this means is unknown.

iSync uses IrMC for local sync-ing.

If the phone supports IrMC level 4 there is a chance it could work with iSync - however Apple would need to specifically add support for it.

Basically only the phones listed on the iSync page will work currently.

As for future phone support - you'd have to be inside the iSync team at Apple to know that.

Thanks. I guess that leaves me with the Treo then. I've been reluctant to go with the Treo as I have heard mixed reviews. I guess I'll give it a shot. It's for my wife. She needs Palm functionality, but really just a basic phone. Most important is the size/weight.
