I have finally gone Classic free and trashed OS 9, but is there any way to determine if there are any residual invisible files from OS 9?

Thanks.

I trashed OS 9 after I installed Jaguar, and never looked back.

I haven't used it since maybe June or July.

I'm happy to see that so many have gone OS X only, but what's the big deal... I consider OS 9 my spair tire...

Have been OS9 free since 1.1.3, whenever that was.
When something breaks down, last thing I need is OS9. It crashed so often, just emailing and browsing, forget Word or BBEdit nightmares, that I still can't quite believe how safe I feel in X. There is one outlandish prgram I occasionally need OS9 for, so I have a small partition on an external FW drive just for that aggravation! Good riddance.

I almost never use OS 9, but I keep it on my computer for AIFF Writer.

I understand that, and I never thought I would. ****in' nerd.

I have OS 9 still, as I boot back into it sometimes, just for kicks, and for future Myth 2 map development. My next Mac will be classic fee (you know, since it won't boot into 9).

Exactly.

Deleting Classic just for the sake of it, or to make a point, is just... dumb.
