Hi,

I know that if I delete a photo from an album, the picture is NOT removed from the Library.

In order to remove it from the Library I have to click on the Library folder and look for it.

Is there a shortcut or a command that lets me automatically remove a picture from the library, when I remove it from an album?

Thanks!

I wanted to bump this up to see if anyone had an answer now that iPhoto 2 is out.

It's a real pain to dig through the library to find a particular photo... any ideas? An AppleScript? A hack?

I just started using iPhoto. It took a real leap of faith to give up my organized folders for its mess of a library...

Thanks,

Yes, sorry - iPhoto 4. And this belongs in Software anyway... can someone please move it, or should I start a new thread over there?

Delete Album and Contents - This script will remove a chosen album and the images it contains from the iPhoto library. Use this script carefully as its actions cannot be undone.

Hold down the Apple key + Option key then the Delete key . It doesn't warn you about what it's doing, just puts it in iPhoto's trash.

Hope this helps!
