Changing position of get info window

Is it possible to change the position of the get info window? I find it always opens partially behind my dock which is on the left side of the screen, which is most annoying.

Trash your Finder preferences.

Or, if you don't want to lose other settings, type this in Terminal:
defaults delete com.apple.Finder InspectorWindow.Location
