I'm running OS-X 10.2.4 on a Quicksilver 800. My printer is an HP 1200se connected via USB and I have 72mb of ram in the printer.

My normal printing (e.g. word docs) print immediately after warm up when I send a job to the printer. But if I get directions to a yellow pages address in sherlock, or print a PDF from Preview, it takes FOREVER. I'm talking 2 or 3 minutes before the printer begins to print.

It doesn't seem to be a question of graphics. Web pages print out fine and the map Sherlock prints out is very low res. Any suggestions?

P.S. I'm a technical dummy, so please don't blind me with mumbo-jumbo.
