While installing Adobe illustrator 10 it reaches a file for installation called "ARMlib" and suddenly a dialog box appears stating
"The installation requires a System Folder(no kidding!) on the destination Drive". FYI it is being installed on my internal drive.
(Could it be OS 9?)

This is a first for me. Any input?

Well, do you have a classic system folder present? Just wondering.

Yes - the installer is looking for OS 9. If you don't have it don't worry, it works fine without. All Adobe Carbon apps. installers behave this way when it can't find a OS 9 system folder.
