OK I don't know how long this has been the case, since I rarely intentionally shutdown or restart, but at least for right now, every single time I restart, my machine will quit all the apps, all i'll be left with is the desktop images. Then I get that circle thing spinning on the desktop. Then I get a kernel panic. This happens every SINGLE time. What gives?

Just guessing here, but do you have Norton Utilities on your machine? NU, especially its File Saver, is notorious for screwing up OS X systems.

Oh hell no, I learned a long time ago that norton is BAD news for OS X! Its funny it was panicing every single time, then the other day it just stopped and now it runs fine every single time. Huh.
